Music uniquely impacts each of us and the world around us.

SHARING THE GIFT OF MUSIC
Kimberly elevates your personal experience with music
and inspires audiences and players through her performance and instruction.

My formal musical training began in Texas on the piano at 6 years old. Blessed to have parents who valued the arts, my love for the piano continued as I explored the clarinet, guitar, cello and dance.

I was introduced to the harp in high school. My parents immediately said “Yes!” when I asked for lessons and so my harp life began! At 17, I chose my love for music over my interest in biology and focused on the next steps to becoming a professional musician.

Since completing a Bachelor of Music (Southern Methodist University) and Graduate studies (The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada) in harp performance, I have enjoyed a fulfilling, vibrant and successful 30+ year career that has taken me many places and brought wonderful people into my life.

I thrive on the variety of opportunities that have included classical recitals, the Houston International Festival, playing for celebrity concerts with Moody Blues, Bernadette Peters and Frank Sinatra Jr.; theater productions of My Fair Lady and The Fantasticks, church music by John Rutter and Benjamin Britten; performances of Mahler with the Houston Symphony and outdoor July 4th concerts with Fort Worth Symphony, musical meditations in intimate settings and life’s special occasions - holidays, weddings, anniversaries, engagements, memorials / celebration of life, bat/bar mitzvahs, birthdays and business openings and parties.

This journey continues as I am inspired by music, people, places, projects, experiences and beauty. I enjoy sharing my experiences with private students, audiences, the students of the Houston Summer Harp Festival and Harp Journeys Festivals and with service to the American Harp Society.

I am currently planning my next recording of reflective and meditative music which will include original compositions with plans to publish this music this year. Recent performances include the Harp in Worship Conference, the Houston Summer Harp Festival, Lewisville Lake Symphony Orchestra and numerous private functions. Plans for another Harp Journeys Festival will be announced soon and my online teaching studio continues to grow, allowing me to connect with you wherever you live!
