Ms DeRosa is an engaging and versatile presenter available virtually and in person for workshops, masterclasses, ensemble directing and performance. Her enthusiastic approach is inclusive and creates a positive experience for any age and any level. She enjoys traveling and working with harp communities everywhere.
Presentations include lecture, participatory and interactive formats on topics such as technique, stress management, musicality, Latin Rhythms, building confidence and ease in playing. Kimberly has been a featured artist/performer with Harp in Worship, Beauty of the Harp, Northern Colorado Harp Festival, Harp Journeys, Baton Rouge Harp Camp, New Orleans Harp Chapter, Greater Houston Harp Chapter, Gulf Coast Harpers Conference, North Jersey Harp Chapter, AHS Institute, among others. Masterclasses are an educational opportunity for both the performing participants and the observers. Performers have the opportunity to perform their piece for Kimberly Snaufer DeRosa, other performers and observers. To practice performing is a crucial part of preparing for formal performances such as recitals, competitions, auditions and video applications, or in simply refining a piece for one’s own pleasure.
Gain valuable feedback that may include technique tips, musical expression and stress management to further elevate the performer’s confidence and performance of the music. Suggestions and ideas will both challenge and provide encouragement.
ONLINE MASTERCLASS
The number of performers is restricted, chosen prior to the masterclass and chosen based on:
1) application form (below) and qualifications
2) “first come, first serve”
Performers, teachers and observers wishing to attend the masterclass must all submit the form below to receive link.
The masterclass link and password will be sent to those who have completed the form and payment. Teachers of performers will receive a complimentary link once submitting the form.
PERFORMERS - A limited number of students will be chosen prior to the masterclass. If you are accepted as a performer, you will be notified. Your place will be secured upon receipt of payment.
OBSERVERS - There are unlimited openings for student and adult observers.
